2023 GOALS
For Legacy Creek Project at Rose Point, NKPSA is Assisting the property owners as requested to submit Habitat funding and permitting.
Working with WDFW to locate and install RSI egg boxes for Coho while awaiting completion of property owner’s completion of Habitat Projects at mouth of creek.
Participated in Team Meeting with Property Owner. Mike Kotzin, WDFW Fish Biologist and Habitat Biologist, discussed project plans and responsibilities. NKPSA role will be to support project partners when requested and conduct RSI operations in creek. Property Owners Mike Kotzin and Donna Moreland are awaiting funding decision. Bill Buegel reported no Chum or Coho were found in creek, survey results to be provided to WDFW, Tara Shott-Livingston. Tara said that she discussed advanced permitting with Josh Nickolas, WDFW Program Manager and preparation of forms may proceed.’
